The Youth Hostel is located next to the open-air stage, Germany's largest outdoor music theatre, on a ridge of the Teutoburg Forest. From here guests are treated to fantastic views both of the Münsterland to the south and of the North German Plain. The resort town of Tecklenburg is also called "Westphalia's Rothenburg". Go and discover the entirely intact medieval town centre, with its winding streets, steep stairways and picturesque market square - just a few minutes' walk from the Youth Hostel. Be sure to pay the bastion and the Wier tower a visit as well. Groups can book sightseeing tours at the Youth hostel prior to travelling.

Our Youth Hostel has 130 beds, spread across modern rooms with between two and eight beds. Each room is equipped with a wash-hand basin. Our Hostel has five conference rooms available for use; their moveable walls mean they can be adjusted to hold the number of people you need. The conference rooms have WiFi, satellite television with DVD player, and a projector. A disco room is available for you to wind down at the end of a long day. If the weather isn't too good, families will love our playroom, which has a large play area.
