Bad Münstereifel Youth Hostel lies above Bad Münstereifel, in the district of Rodert. Nature lovers appreciate its location on the edge of the forest - the mediaeval town of Bad Münstereifel can be reached on foot in just 10 minutes.

Arriving by public transport
Take the train to Bad Münstereifel. The walk to the hostel starts in the town centre at the Jesuit church/marketplace. From there, follow the signs (JH - Youth Hostel). As of the Dachsbau restaurant, the road is called "Roderter Kirchweg".
Arriving by bus or car
Note: Please follow the signs on site, and not the navigation systems.


A1 or A61:
drive as far as the Bliesheim junction, then continue on the A1 (towards Euskirchen/Trier) to the Bad Münstereifel/Mechernich exit. Turn towards Bad Münstereifel (L165). At the end of Nöthener Straße turn right again (don't drive into the town). Then at the roundabout take the 3rd exit, into the B51 bypass, towards Altenahr. After about 1 km, take the 3rd exit of the roundabout towards the town centre (Stadtmitte), Altenahr. At Kölner Straße immediately turn left again and go under the bridge. Take the L234 towards Altenahr and after about 1 km turn right towards Rodert, Jugendherberge (Youth Hostel). In Rodert, turn right and continue straight ahead on the road to the hostel. br>


B258/266:
take the B258/266 via Monschau, Schleiden to Gemünd. As of Gemünd go towards Mechernich as far as Bad Münstereifel, at the end of Nöthener Straße turn right (not into town), then continue as above.
Parking facilities
There are parking spaces for cars and buses at the hostel.
Arriving by bike
The hostel has a secured space for about 30 bikes where you can safely store your bikes.
